Matte lipsticks last much longer and don't transfer as easily as glossy lipsticks. If you have dry lips then it may not be an option as it can cause flakiness in which case a glossy lip may be a better choice. So what are you thinking of for your wedding?

We did a styled photo shoot with recently and we just adore how they captured these lovely details. When you are spending so much money on a wedding dress and accessories, you definitely want a photographer who will make sure you can cherish it forever!

Times like these have certainly made us aware of how best laid plans can go awry! Think this should be the year of plan b. What will you do if...there is another lock down etc.

We just wanted to let you know in case you are thinking of booking, if you should book with us and have to reschedule we will move your wedding date and deposit. Should your chosen artist not be available, we will move your deposit over to one of our other artists and if we don't have anyone else available to look after you, we will give you your deposit back.

Hopefully this will be reassuring so if you are interested in booking, please get in touch. Our 2022 calendar is open and we have some limited availability left in 2021.

Weddings this last year have not been easy for our brides, but just remember your guests all care for you and if you have to reduce numbers they will understand. What a lot of our 2020 brides plan to do is have a big party when they can with the rest of their friends and family that couldn't come to the wedding because of restrictions. Our top tip! If you are having a bridal trial, we recommend that it is a good time to try out your fake tan too (if you plan on wearing it!). Try and get it done in the same place that you intend to get it done on the day or if you are doing it yourself, make sure to use the same brand. Some lipstick tones work better on tanned skin, so your tan could affect your decision making and best to get this right at your bridal trial.

Its been a busy week of rescheduling all our bridal trials for some of our 2021 brides. This has been the third and even forth reschedule for some of these ladies, our heart goes out to anyone trying to organise their wedding during these times. Hopefully this will be our last lockdown and 2021 will be a much more positive year 🤞

In case you haven't thought of this yet, the best ways to add a pop of colour on your wedding day without going too overboard could be:
1. Including colourful flowers in your decor
2. Including colourful flower vases
3. Colourful details such as napkins, or even the names of your guests on their tables.
