FILL OUR GAPS! 🫦

We've had a good few ppl dropping by or emailing saying 'there's probably no chance of an appointment' or 'you probably don't have an appointment but I thought I'd chance my arm' or 'you're probably booked up for ages'. And we get it, pre covidy wovidy there was a 5 week wait for an evening appt (melt).

But. Times have changed and things are different (we've a Tropical Thoughts dropping on the blog v soon about this) and we're here to let you know we have availability! Saturdays and evenings still go first but as always, we'll always try and make your desired time work.

So, if you've been meaning to make an appt, this is your sign to go for gold πŸ₯‡ Booking link in bio or email us on [email protected] or even better, pop in to us if you're passing 🫢

It's been a hot second FB!
And what better to come back with than a look at a recent pop-up HIV testing and awareness hub we did in the nail bar with Poz Vibe Tribe.

Welcome back!

We're so excited to be back in business and living our tropical lives again from 1st July.

There are however a few new unavoidable Ts & Cs as we continue to live with Covid-19. We're not in the business of infantilising our clients and trust that we are all aware and adhering to the current guidelines, but here are some of the things we're implementing that we need you to be aware of.

No awards for Tardies or no shows

Unlike Travis in Clueless, there'll be no awards for being late. On the contrary, unfortunately, we'll have no leeway to extend appointments for latecomers and will have to either reschedule or complete a shorter treatment. However, you will be charged for the full treatment as we won't be able to slot other people in. The same for no shows. As someone who is always late (rude) I understand this might be frustrating at the time but what ya gonna do? Apart from be on time!

Bookings

We won't be able to add on any treatments on the day so please make sure you are happy with the treatment you've booked in. Make sure you've booked in the right amount of nail art (if you're not sure how much time to allocate, drop us a mail); remember you haven't had your cuticles done in 4 months so do book in a mini mani with your gel polish and don't forget to book in soak offs!

Masks

We will require all clients to wear a mask and all our staff will be wearing leopard ones too. So do remember to bring your own. If you happen to forget your own, we'll have re-usuable ones for you to wear or you'll be able to buy a Natalie B Coleman one for keeps. After seeing how much disposable mask waste was washing up on shorelines we made the decision not to supply disposable masks.

Our routine

So. On arrival, we'll ask you to wash your hands and we'll also have loads of sanitisers around the salon. Once you've washed your hands, we'll ask you not to touch your face or your stuff (like phones etc). If you do, we'll have to get you to sanitise again and if we're half way through a paint job, that's not ideal. We'll all be wearing masks and we have some fab new screens (even though we're all wearing masks!) . Each station will be disinfected (as always) after each client. And we'd prefer contactless payment if possible.

Money, honey

We've added a 2.50e transaction fee to each appointment. We don't want to profit off this situation so took the decision not to increase our prices but rather, add this fee on till we get to a point when we can take it back off again.

If you bought a gift voucher from us while we were closed, we thank you a thousand times. We really appreciated it. If you're in a position to hold off using it for a couple of appointments time till we get back on our feet, that would be swell. If not, no problem at all. At all!

COVID

It goes without saying, if you're feeling unwell, please don't visit us.

Also, by confiming your appointment we're cofirming that you:

*have no symptoms of cough, fever, high temperature, sore throat, runny nose, breathlessness or flu like symptoms now or in the past 14 days

*have not been diagnosed with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 infection in the last 14 days

* are not a close contact of a person who is a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days (less than 2 metres for more than 15 mins altogether in 1 day)

*have not been asked by a doctor to self-isolate or cocoon at this time

Please be patient with us. We've been closed for ages and this is all new to us too.

Can't wait to see you.
xx
