Ways to Boost Energy through Mindful Practices 10/12/2020

Mindful meditation has been a boost for my own energy levels. A mind that is constantly thinking and ruminating (and we often have the same thoughts over and over) is a real "energysuck". Simply sitting and resting in awareness of body and mind is enough to allow breath and mind to slow down. I notice I have more energy and clarity throughout the day after a practice. This article is from my blog on imindtraining.com

Ways to Boost Energy through Mindful Practices Create a life that is energising, loving and patient. When we spend time in rumination, worrying about the future and worrying about the past it is so incredibly draining. It drains our energy, our time, our resources, our relationships. It can be unnecessary and wasteful. Do you spend a lot of time...

Amazing teacher Susie yoga and Pilates ❤️

.
Tomorrow mornings practice is full of multi directional delight!
This practice is designed to replicate a circular pattern and to slip slowly through the asanas like honey moving through your hands. Sink and slink deeply into a creative flow and be fully immersed into the experience. It's easy to see why this style resonates so naturally with people. And it's one if my favourites.
Mandala Flow.

WHEN I AM AMONG TREES by Mary Oliver

When I am among the trees,
especially the willows and the honey locust,
equally the beech, the oaks, and the pines,
they give off such hints of gladness.

I would almost say that they save me, and daily.
I am so distant from the hope of myself,
in which I have goodness, and discernment,
and never hurry through the world
but walk slowly, and bow often.
Around me the trees stir in their leaves
and call out, “Stay awhile.”

The light flows from their branches.
And they call again, “It’s simple,”
they say, “and you, too, have come
into the world to do this, to go easy,
to be filled with light, and to shine.”
