Day 6 – 8 Week Salon Basic Nail Academy 💅

Today we focused on Salon Nail Art – designs every nail tech needs to master in the salon.
We practiced ombre, French, clean lines and floral designs, and the girls did an amazing job! Their confidence and precision improve with every training day and it’s incredible to watch their progress.

When nail services go wrong…‼️‼️‼️‼️

Today a client came to us with a serious nail plate injury.
Her previous technician filed the nail so deep that it reached the nail bed and caused bleeding, and then applied product over it.

This should never happen.

Over-filing the natural nail can lead to:
• pain and sensitivity
• infections
• nail plate separation
• long-term damage to the nail bed

As professionals, our priority is the health of the natural nail — not just the final look.

In this case we did not apply any product on the damaged nail.
The nail needs time to heal before any further work can be done.

Education and proper training matter.
Choosing a qualified nail technician matters.

Healthy nails will always be more important than a quick set.

Today was all about leveling up!
During our Expert BIAB Gel Polish Course, the girls worked incredibly hard and truly impressed me with their progress.

We focused on:
▪️ Cuticle work using different e-file bits
▪️ Perfecting the light line
▪️ Precise painting under the cuticles
▪️ Control, structure & clean finish

Every detail matters when building strong, elegant, and long-lasting BIAB sets — and today they proved they’re ready for the next level. So proud of their dedication and precision 👏
