The most common thing I hear is "I m eating Healthy, but " I'm not losing Weight " . Yup I have been there ! Many many times. not knowing where I was going wrong ?! As I slowly started learning that just because something is deemed" Healthy": it doesn't mean it's calorie free .
To lose weight you need to be in a calorie" deficit " - Meaning- consuming / eating less calories and burning more calories than you are consuming . The truth is many health foods are nutrient dense but also very high calorie dense . So eating" healthy" food alone isn't going to induce fat loss . Being in a total overall calorie deficit is .
Portion size is key !
At the end of the Day - ANYTHING you consume besides water contains calories . Healthy calories are still calories and consuming too many will lead to weight gain ,they all count.
Be mindful , no matter how nutrient - dense your diet is , you will not lose weight if you're not in a calorie deficit .
