Hi all, we at home have been trying quite a lot of organic products especially the rice varieties.

Here's a quick review about our experiences with organic rice varieties:
1. Poongar idli rice with black urad dhall tasted awesome.
Also it was very easy on the stomach. Did not cause an trouble with the bowel movement. By the way Black urad dhall is so good for skin as its full of organic sulphur. Poongar again is good for lactating women and helps in gaining a greater immune power and strength.
2. We tried the harder variety that is unpolished poongar rice with black urad dhall for idli and dosa... Trust me it just taste so much like a rich Adai. Mouth watering combo indeed.
3. We tried the white variety of Jeeraga Samba Rice and the aroma hit the next door literally. The only flip side of these Organic rice variety is that its a new stock and tends to become pasty. So one has to cook such rice varieties with less water.
