Dark Chocolate is a healthy food

Strength Test:
Push ups - Drop and give us as many as possible until failure. maintain proper form. Don't let your hips sag.
Men will do traditional push ups (knees up) and women can do modified push ups keeping knees on floor (box position) - Many women in AKS FITNESS now use traditional push ups.
Scoring: ranging from good to excellent
Men can do 45 to 55 at that time while for women its 35 to 45 push ups.
Agility Test:
Place two strips of tape 3 meters apart and set 2 light books beyond the far strip (let say mark # 2). Standing on mark # 1 - follow the sequence:
a) (Start watch) - Sprint to mark # 2, grab a book
b) Sprint back to #1 and palce the book right behind the tape.
c) Sprint back to # 2 to grab the second book and return to # 1, stopping your watch as you pass it.
Scoring: Under 10 seconds is speedy. Under 9 seconds is practically supersonic -
Since in our old post we talk about five pillars - from Monday we will be publishing these tests. These tests will access your baseline fitness in the five core areas. Till then enjoy ur weekend.
We are starting Thai-Boxing class on Saturdays also. It will be more into body conditioning, static stretches and proper techniques. Class will be on every saturday - 8.15 am morning.
