We’ll devote this week in understanding and activating temporal area of brain .
Our temporal lobes are the unsung heroes responsible for processing our MEMORIES and understanding the language we are reading or hearing right now.
Think of them as our personal filing system- constantly labeling our experiences so we can store, recall, and make sense of the world around us.

Sometimes what irritates us most in others is something we haven’t fully understood in ourselves.
The colleague who feels “too arrogant,” the friend who seems “too needy,” or the person who “always wants attention”—occasionally, these reactions say as much about our inner world as they do about theirs. That’s called PROJECTION : when we unconsciously place our own unrecognized feelings, fears, or traits onto someone else.
Awareness changes this. When we pause and ask, “Why did this affect me so strongly?” we move from judgment to understanding—and often, from conflict to compassion

As a psychiatrist, I often tell my clients, your brain thrives on experience. And travel is one of the healthiest experiences you can give it.
Here’s what’s quietly happening inside your mind when you step into a new place:
🔹 Social Connection
When you meet new people or reconnect deeply, your brain releases bonding chemicals that improve mood stability and emotional security. Human connection is powerful medicine.
🔹 Neuroplasticity
When you navigate unfamiliar streets, try new food, or hear a new language, your brain forms fresh pathways. It likes novelty. It grows with challenge.
🔹 Stress Reset
Stepping away from routine helps lower the constant “alert mode” many of us live in. Your stress hormones settle, and your nervous system finally exhales.
🔹 Sensory Activation
New colors, sounds, smells, textures, they wake up parts of your brain that daily repetition keeps quiet. This keeps cognition sharp and engaged.
Travel isn’t just a break from life.
It’s a gentle recalibration of your brain.
