A high risk pregnancy is one that threatens the health or life of the mother or her fetus. It often requires specialized care from specially trained providers.

Some pregnancies become high risk as they progress, while some women are at increased risk for complications even before they get pregnant for a variety of reasons.

Early and regular prenatal care helps many women have healthy pregnancies and deliveries without complications.

Vitamin B6 plays a significant role in keeping the balance of different hormones in our body; as a result deficiency of vitamin B6 will lead to hormonal imbalance, especially an imbalance of estrogen and progesterone – two hormones that are vital for fertility.

Another problem with vitamin B6 deficiency is an irregular menstrual cycle owing to the imbalance of hormone.

Vitamin B6 deficiency also results in poor s***m and affects female egg quality, making the hormone essential for both men and women.

Female and male obesity/overweight increases the risk of sub-fecundity and infertility. The destructive effects of female obesity on reproduction are attributed to a variety of ovarian and extra-ovarian factors. In women with overweight or obesity, the time taken to conceive is longer, and they have a decreased fertility rate, increased requirement for gonadotropins, and higher miscarriage rate when compared to those with normal weight. Male obesity may lead to subfertility, mainly because of the disruption of the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, increased testicular temperature, impairment of the physical and molecular structure of s***m, decreased s***m quality, and erectile dysfunction due to peripheral vascular disease.

Studies recommend lifestyle interventions as first-line therapy in the general population of women and men with obesity and infertility.

In today’s society, age-related infertility is becoming more common because, for a variety of reasons, many women wait until their 30s to begin their families. Even though women today are healthier and taking better care of themselves than ever before, improved health in later life does not offset the natural age-related decline in fertility. It is important to understand that fertility declines as a woman ages due to the normal age-related decrease in the number of eggs that remain in her ovaries. This decline may take place much sooner than most women expect. #1️
