We cordially invite you to the grand and auspicious inauguration of ONUS HOSPITALS ON WHEELS on 26th November 2019 (Tuesday) at 11 AM and grace us with your presence.

It gives me great pleasure to start Knee Care on wheels which is first time introducing in India, with an X-ray facility in the ambulance with telemedicine and an orthopedic doctor consultation chamber.

We are fighting against knee arthritis because more than 1 in every 4 adults suffers from knee arthritis and this number continues to grow. According to a recent study, the prevalence of Osteoarthritis Knee Joint was higher in villages (31.1%) and big cities (33.1%) as compared to towns (17.1%) and small cities (17.2%). ONUS HOSPITALS initiated an awareness program at the community level which is needed for the prevention of OA of knees at an early age. Our mobile health care unit will educate patients about knee arthritis, prevent further damage and treatment is given which helps millions of patients in the coming years.

As India moves to achieve Universal Health Coverage and in a context where substantial improvement has been made in overall access and coverage, the needs of such populations in underserved areas must assume the highest priority. Mobile Orthopaedic health services are a response to reaching a population who are facing difficulty in traveling and cut off from mainstream services on account of geography and climatic conditions.

The mission of ONUS HOSPITALS is a commitment to providing affordable, accessible and quality health services to all. The Mission has a mandate to reach everyone, particularly vulnerable patients.

I am happy to say that the Mobile medical unit will be treating that as a part of the ‘Community Outreach’ program, we have initiated the facility of Mobile Mobile Clinics to take the hospital closer to people’s home in and around the city.

The mobile medical unit is accompanied by experienced doctors and nurses who provide free primary medical care which includes Free Orthopaedic doctor consultation, Sugar Checkup, BP Checkup, Xray Of Knee joint and medicine will be given free of cost.
