🔷️Ditching the sunscreen in the rainy season ☔is the biggest mistake one can commit towards skin .
⛈Its cloudy nowadays and we are not directly exposed to sun rays but that doesn't mean you should not apply sunscreen.
🔷️Always apply sunscreen even when there are clouds or raining heavily ☔☔🌧 coz the UV Rays coming from clouds are more harmful for the skin.
🔷️Sunscreen protects from the UV rays ( UV-A and UV -B ).
Q - What does SPF mean ❓
🔷️SPF -
Sun protecting factor and it measures how well a sunscreen will protect skin from the UV Rays which causes sun burn and damages the skin.
Minimum SPF 15 is recommended which gives 93% of protection.
Spf 30 - 97% protection from
UVB Rays .
Spf 50 - 98% protection from the
UVB rays .
🔷️Spf50 gives only 1%more protection and is more costly also than spf 30.
Thus SPF 30 is more effective.
🔷️Apply sunscreen at least 15-20mins before stepping out .
