Explanation:
Anaesthetic antacids combine the acid-neutralizing effects of antacids with the pain-relieving properties of a topical anesthetic. They work by neutralizing stomach acid, which reduces irritation and pain, and by numbing the esophagus and stomach lining to provide further pain relief.
Side effects:
Anesthetic antacid gels can cause several side effects, including local irritation, altered taste, and in rare cases, more serious reactions like methemoglobinemia or allergic reactions. Common side effects include constipation, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal discomfort, and a chalky taste.
Common Side Effects:
Constipation: Antacids containing aluminum hydroxide can cause constipation due to its astringent properties.
Diarrhea: Antacids containing magnesium hydroxide can cause diarrhea.
Nausea and Abdominal Discomfort: These are common side effects of antacids in general.
Chalky Taste: Some formulations may leave a chalky taste in the mouth.

It's freaking hot outside.
But that's not it, once we get inside the ac room. The main problem starts there. The deadly combination of the hot steaming weather and cool breeze of ac, this is making us fall sick, running nose.
People uses many medicines in this cases like cetrizine, levocetrizine, montelukast, and some nasal sprays also.
Now it's important to know that uses of nasal sprays are not harmful or effective. U just need to know the right process. So, here it's my job to acknowledge you about it.
This medication is used for temporary relief of congestion in the nose caused by various conditions including the common cold, sinusitis, hay fever, and allergies. It works by narrowing the blood vessels in the nose area, reducing swelling and congestion.
Common side effects
These common side effects of fluticasone nasal spray or drops can happen in more than 1 in 100 people. There are things you can do to help cope with them:

An unpleasant taste or smell
A dry or sore nose, or nosebleeds
A dry or sore throat, or hoarse voice
Headache
Speak to a doctor or pharmacist if the advice on how to cope does not help and a side effect is still bothering you or does not go away.

Serious side effects
Serious side effects are rare. Less than 1 in 10,000 people have a serious side effect when using fluticasone nasal spray or drops.

অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স প্রয়োগ কি শিশুদের জন্য খারাপ?

বিভিন্ন অসুখে অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স প্রয়োগ ছাড়া উপায় থাকে না। কিন্তু প্রয়োজন ছাড়াই অ্যান্টিবায়েটিকের ব্যবহার বা ভুল ডোজে প্রয়োগ শরীরে অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক রেজিসট্যান্স তৈরি করতে পারে। এর ফলে অ্য়ান্টিবায়োটিক কাজ করে না। চিকিৎসাশাস্ত্রের ভাষায় যাকে বলে অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক রেজিসট্যান্স (Antibiotic resistance)

ঠিক ভাবে প্রয়োগ না হলে, যে জীবাণুকে মারার চেষ্টা করা হচ্ছে ওষুধ দিয়ে, সেই ব্যাকটেরিয়ার একটা প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা তৈরি হয়ে যায় ওই অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্সের বিরুদ্ধে।

অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্সের ডোজ কমও নয়, বেশিও নয়।

ভাইরাল জ্বর বা ভাইরাল ডায়রিয়ায় অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স দেওয়ার মানে নেই।

আগের বার ডাক্তার অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স দিয়েছিলেন, তাই এবারও সেই অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স দোকানে গিয়ে কিনে ফেললেন, সেই ভুলটা করবেন না।

উপসর্গ কমে গেলেও অ্যান্টিবায়োডিক্স সম্পূর্ণ ডোজ শেষ করার আগে বন্ধ নয় ।

প্রয়োজন পড়লে অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স দিতেই পারেন চিকিৎসকরা, কিন্তু যদি দেখা যায়, বারবার এই ধরনের ওষুধ প্রয়োগের মতো পরিস্থিতি হচ্ছে, তখন কিন্তু ভাবতে হবে বাচ্চাটির রোগ প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা কম নয় তো ? হলেও তা কেন।

ডাক্তারের প্রেসক্রিপশন ছাড়া অ্যান্টবায়োটিক্স বিক্রিও বন্ধ করুক ওষুধের দোকান।

অনেক অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স রেজিস্ট্যান্স তৈরি হয়ে গেলে কিন্তু প্রয়োজনের সময় ওষুধ কাজ করবে না।

অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্সের প্রয়োগে অনেক সময় অন্ত্রের ভাল ব্যাকটেরিয়াগুলিকে মেরে ফেলতে পারে। তাতে সমস্যা তৈরি হতে পারে। খারাপ ব্যাকটেরিয়াগুলি সক্রিয় হয়ে উঠতে পারে। তাতে ডায়রিয়া হতে পারে।

অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স বা অ্যান্টিব্যাক্টেরিয়াল ওষুধের সঙ্গে পরিচয় সকলেরই। এক্কেবারে সদ্যোজাত থেকে বৃদ্ধ, বিভিন্ন অসুখের এই গোত্রের ওষুধ প্রয়োগ হয়। আসলে এই অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স এক ধরনের ক্ষমতাশালী ওষুধ যা ব্যাকটেরিয়া সংক্রমণের হাত থেকে বাঁচায়। মনে রাখতে হবে অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স কিন্তু ভাইরাসের সঙ্গে লড়ে না। এই ওষুধের ব্যবহার গিয়ে নানাজনের নানা মত। বিশেষত বাচ্চাদের অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স দেওয়া ঠিক কিনা , তা নিয়ে চর্চা বিস্তর। অনেকেই মনে করেন, অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক্স প্রয়োগ হলেই নাকি রোগ প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা হারিয়ে ফেলে বাচ্চারা। কতটা ঠিক এই দাবি, আলোচনা করলেন শিশুরোগ বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসক জয়দেব রায়।

টিবি রোগ কি কারনে হয়?

আগেই আমরা বলেছি যে, এই রোগ ছড়ায় একটি ব্যাকটেরিয়ার মাধ্যমে যার নাম মাইকোব্যাকটেরিয়াম টিউবারকিউলোসিস। টিবি ছড়ানোর পিছনে আসল কারণ হল বাতাস। কাশি, হাঁচি কিংবা লালা মারফৎ টিবি একজনের থেকে অন্যজনের দেহে ছড়িয়ে পড়তে পারে। এই ব্যাকটেরিয়া আমাদের ফুসফুসের ক্ষতি করে।
