Jasmine Sambac Concrete Production

Jasmine Sambac concrete is a botanical extract derived from the flowers of the Jasmine sambac plant, scientifically known as Jasminum sambac. It is a highly fragrant and aromatic flower native to Southeast Asia and is prized for its sweet and exotic scent. Jasmine Sambac is widely used in perfumery and aromatherapy due to its captivating fragrance.

Harvesting: Jasmine Sambac flowers are carefully hand-picked, usually in the early morning when their fragrance is at its peak.

Maceration: The freshly harvested flowers are placed in a solvent, often a non-polar solvent like hexane, to extract the aromatic compounds. The flowers are left to macerate in the solvent for a period of time.

Filtration: After maceration, the mixture is filtered to remove solid plant material, leaving behind a fragrant liquid known as the "absolute."

Evaporation: The solvent is then evaporated, leaving behind a concentrated waxy substance known as the concrete.

Dilution: To make the fragrance more usable and user-friendly, the concrete can be further diluted in a suitable carrier oil to create Jasmine Sambac absolute, which is a liquid form of the fragrance that retains the rich aroma of the flowers.
