Maha Navmi is celebrated is all over the country with different rituals and tradition. In our house we celebrate it by doing kanya pujan where According to the ritual, nine young girls are worshipped as nine forms of Goddess Durga. Their feet are washed with water, Put tilak of kumkum, Special food is cooked for them, and they are offered gifts as tokens of love and respect.
