London. All of it at once.
Uppu’s graduation. My talk at UCL. Walks I didn’t plan. Food I definitely shouldn’t have eaten. A skyline I kept stopping to photograph. Trees that made me forget I was in a city.
I came for her and stayed for everything London quietly gave me on the side.
Watching her walk across that stage with a distinction, that one I’ll carry for a long time. The rest of it was just the universe being generous.
