Honest skincare mistakes that i made..

1. Niacinamide was so hyped on Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok
everywhere. It took me a while to realize all it does it controls oil, hydrate the skin and work on redness\irritation. It does nothing for rough texture or deeper skin issues like blackheads, which was dealing at that point of time.

2. Snail mucin is shown as that ultra-powerful hydrator across reels and tiktok. It was average in hydration at best and if your skin is dealing with other issues, glass skin is a far thing to achieve. It's a more detailed process than snail essence can get you.

3. Pore tightening toners are a myth.

4. The detoxifying aspect of charcoal is a scam. There's nothing to "detoxify" in our skin.

5. Face washes can do as far as gently exfoliate your skin while you wash. But please don't use it as a treatment.
