LLLT - Low Level Laser Therapy

The discovery of the beneficial effects of Laser light in hair growth was accidental. In 1967, during the course of research on mice for other conditions, a Hungarian scientist came across the beneficial effects of laser.

This works by the principle of photobiostimulation.

When the target tissue (here the hair follicle) is exposed to the Laser, it absorbs the light energy and the cells get excited to a higher energy state and in the process of coming back to the previous energy states, the cells get stimulated and this in turn leads to a surge in the blood circulation, an increase in the number of follicles in the anagen state and also a spurt in the cell multiplication thereby the end result is a gradual reduction in the hair fall, an increase in the hair thickness and this in turn translates into an overall increase in the density.
