She did not want heavy concealing. She did not want to be blurred into a different version of herself. She wanted her skin to look like skin. She wanted to feel like her.

In an era of unrealistic ideas of perfection, Vaimani stood by the version of herself she knows and loves.

My responsibility was not to transform her, but to honour her. It was about listening, understanding her comfort, and enhancing what was already there, nothing more, nothing less.
