Take a deeper look at our water of wonder 🩵
This unique resource is the foundation of the Blue Lagoon, giving us both the unique destination and the scientifically backed skincare products. Originating deep within Iceland's bedrock, the geothermal seawater is made up of both groundwater and seawater that meet and mix in an environment of immense pressure and intense heat.
Once the water reaches the surface, it's a balmy 38°C (or 100°F) and stays wonderfully warm all year round.
