Fontana Steam by the Lake

Fontana will be temporarily closed from 1 October 2025 until April 2026 as we begin an exciting renovation and expansion project. When we reopen, you will discover new pools, a panoramic sauna, and upgraded facilities designed to make your visit even more memorable. 🌊✨

But there is good news 👉 Our beloved Geothermal Bakery Tour
(see link in comments) will remain open all winter. Come taste the famous hot spring rye bread baked in the bubbling black sand by Lake Laugarvatn, a tradition locals have cherished for generations. 🥖🔥
