The 'I Will Always Love You' singer's death was confirmed by her publicist Kristen Foster.
In a press conference Beverley Hills police department confirmed that an emergency call was made at 3.40pm with ambulance services arriving to the Beverley Hilton Hotel within two minutes. The singer was pronounced dead at 3.55pm.
