I've never really celebrated Halloween as a holiday, but I have to admit it's hard to not get excited to play dress-up and be as ridiculous/dark/hilarious as you want. I had a perfectly reasonable excuse to play around with face paint and learn some special effects techniques, sounds reasonable to me. I realize I'm a little more excited about doing special effects than regular makeup, so this definitely isn't the last you'll see of the gore for the year. I'm just getting started. *birdman handrub* Here are some of my uh....attempts from the last couple of weeks.
