We, the petitioners representing the dental companies of Jordan, The Jordan Dental Association, and the Arab Union of Dental Technicians, announce the following:

In compliance with our principles, morals, and patriotic duties, we emphasize our support for humanity in general and the Palestinian cause in particular. In cooperation with the Jordanian Dental Association we declare our boycott of attending the Dubai Convention, AEEDC 2021, for the same reasons that were stated in the declarations of The Arab Dental Association and The Arab Union of Dental Technicians. We also confirm that our boycott will continue as long as there will be the presence of people and/or companies that support the Zionistic regime in Palestine. However, if the aforementioned parties will be excluded from participating in the coming years, then we will be glad to take part, as we are keen on the continuation of fellowship and relations with AEEDC.

In case we need to continue the boycott of AEEDC, we will be forced to pursue our efforts to develop and strengthen the JDS (Jordan Dental Show) in Amman to be accepted by our colleagues inside and outside the Arab world as an alternative to AEEDC, excluding the companies that support the activities of the Israeli occupation army that involve the murdering of children and the looting of the Palestinian lands.
