wait..i'm a senior now?

the end of an era🫶🏻🇰🇪

in the beginning of july i said goodbye to my friends and family for a month to do the best thing i have ever done. i have spent the past month interning at coast general teaching and referral hospital in mombasa kenya, learning and watching the miracle workers in that facility. as a 17 year old, this was a fairly large undertaking for me, but i would never regret coming the the beautiful country of mombasa. i was able to learn enormous amounts of information, and be taught by doctors that have worked in such an underdeveloped area. with international medical aid, we attend and teach clinics to young kids about basic hygiene, and women's health to teenage girls. these clinics have been some of my very favorite activities that i participated in, and are such an impactful experience. i am so grateful that i have been able to visit, and i will surely be back. asante sana kenya, IMA, and CGTRH. much love🫶🏻
