We have to break this belief that products will solve everything. Products will solve your issues temporarily but you have to deal with the root of the problem which most of the time lies in our habits. Stop eating things you're intolerant to. Stop taking care of your skin only when you notice you're having a breakout. Stick to your routine even when your skin seems to be in pristine condition. Avoid hairstyles that will interfere with your face especially if you have oily and sensitive skin. Note the small habits you're ignoring that affect your skin and change them one by one. Once you do this, you'll rely less on products and save yourself a lot of time, effort and money. For more tips, follow my page on the link below.

Happy New Year beauties. I hope you’re all starting this year on a good note. I’m pretty sure that most of you have New Year’s resolutions and maybe, squeezed up somewhere on your list, is taking better care of your skin. It’s never easy ladies unless you’re blessed with normal skin type but even those with this skin type need to take care of their skin to maintain its condition. It’s important to keep in mind that skincare is an investment. In this case, you’ll mainly need to put in the time, effort and the money. Making time every day to do your skincare routine and do it consistently is not as easy as it sounds because life happens and you will always find excuses to do it later. Plan your time and stick to it. Something people don’t like to acknowledge is that skincare is expensive. If you choose to use manufactured products, finding the best products consumes a lot of time to research and you’ll find most of them are very capable of putting a dent in your wallet. Work within your means. If you are on a tight budget, it will be better to go for DIY products and invest more time in making them. Bottom line is, you need to budget your money and time wisely to suit your lifestyle. Build discipline and you will follow through with your plans.

Ladies and gentlemen, let us please normalise skin care. I receive questions on how to permanently get rid of acne, acne scars and stretch marks. If we just up our hygiene and create skin care regimens that suit our skin, we wouldn't be out here buying every type of product put out there that claims to eradicate our skin issues. I must tell you and hope that I'm very clearly heard by everyone. Some companies just want your money and will come up with the wildest marketing schemes to get you to buy their products. So hear me out. The base of every skin care routine is cleansing, exfoliating and moisturising. Take this first step and I guarantee you'll see changes. Not everything is sold by products. Sometimes our habits are the problem. Our skin just reacts to our habits. You can't blame your skin for being too oily or dry when you don't moisturise regularly. Stop complaining about scarring when you don't frequently exfoliate and put on sunscreen! Follow my page Nella Skin Care if you'd like to get tips on skin care. I do this for free because I've also struggled and getting authentic advice is a struggle. Please note that I'm not an expert. I do my research and ask experts in the field whenever I can. Feel free to ask me questions whenever you need help.😊

TIP OF THE DAY: Keep your hygiene levels up. Especially your your pillowcases. Make sure you change your pillowcase at least once every week. The dirt you have accumulated during the day on your face and hair is deposited on your pillowcase and may cause breakouts on your skin if not cleaned. Also remember to use a gentle detergent when washing it as the skin on your face is sensitive and may react negatively to harsh chemicals.

TIP OF THE DAY: Water is your best friend. You have a headache? Drink water first. Are your lips dry? Drink water. Is your skin ashy? Start taking at least 4 glasses of water daily then work your way up to the recommended 8. What most people don't realize is that we could prevent so many of the diseases we are facing just by drinking adequate amounts of water. Challenge yourself. Try it for about 3 months and you'll note the difference. Taking water will ensure your skin does not dry out hence reduce the amount of sebum your body naturally produces (which greatly promotes acne breakouts) to keep your skin moist.
