IMMUNE BOOSTING TIPS

1. Eat a balanced diet- it ensures that you take the required nutrients in the right mount daily. It also prevents the occurrence of nutrient deficiency diseases which may lower the immune system.

2. Proteins- they are inportant in formation of immune cells. Antibodies / immunoglobulins are proteins in nature.

3. Eat foods rich in vitamin C. It is also important in prevention and treatment of respiratory tract infections. Found in Red, yellow and red fruits and vegetables , broccoli, cabbage and yellow sweet potatoes.

4.Take fermented products. They contain the good bacteria (Probiotics) which are vital for a healthy digestive system. They prevent symptoms like diarrhoea which may lead to nutrient loss.

5. Take whole grains. This is because the bran contains vitamins and minerals which are vital for a healthy immune system.

6. Morning sun is important for the body to produce vitamin D. It is vital for production of immune cells.

7. Take Garlic- it fights infections which may Lowe the immune system.

8. Exercise regularly for weight management. This will prevent obesity which is a risk to many diseases , which may further lower the immune system.
