Good Morning,

Now that the children are going to be home much longer, Have you talked to them about their reproductive systems, S*x and how to take good care of themselves? It is important as a parent no matter how busy you may be that you put aside some time to speak to your child.

Remember, non of us anticipated the major changes to our schedules but we have to adjust to the situation as is.

Good Morning,

Lets Talk,Diabetes during COVID:-

As we keep working towards flattening the curve and following the Ministry of Health tips, today let us touch on Diabetes and Hypertension patients.

As the Government said yesterday, we need to take care of our Diabetic Patients.

People living with diabetes and hypertension, should consume healthy diets based on the locally available foods.

“A balanced diet is critical for preventing and managing non-communicable diseases, and their related complications during this COVID-19 season and beyond,” those who adhere to a healthy diet are able to maintain the acceptable blood sugar levels, manage their blood pressure levels and maintain the ideal body weight.

Adherence alone to prescribed medicine will make your exposure reduce.

How to wear a medical mask 01/07/2020

Good Morning,

We are glad to see especially in the Kangemi area so many of you wearing your masks. However, lets us get a reminder tutorial on how to wear and remove a mask.

Remember, to avoid your mask being used after discarding, make sure you tear it or make sure it is impossible for use once again. Sharing a mask can easily spread not only Covid -19 but other respiratory diseases, therefore let us be our brothers keeper and ensure that we have discarded the Mask the right way.

Apart from wearing a mask, Remember:-

Wash your hands with Soap and Water for 20 seconds and do this as often as possible, after visiting the toilet, after going to the market, after using public transport etc.
If Soap and Water are not available , use an alcohol based Sanitizer.
Keep Social Distance of at least 1.5 meter
Avoid touching your face, eyes, mouth.

Let us keep working towards flattening the curve.

Good Morning,

Today, let us touch on our children

Children under the age of 2 years should not wear cloth face coverings.

When do children need to wear cloth face coverings?

There are places where children should wear cloth face coverings. This includes places where they may not be able to avoid staying 6 feet away from others. For example, if you have to take them to the doctor, pharmacy, or grocery store.

However, there are other places where children do NOT need to wear a cloth face covering:

At home, assuming they have not been exposed to anyone with COVID-19.

Outside, as long as they can stay at least 6 feet away from others and can avoid touching surfaces. For example, it's fine to take a walk as long as your children stay 6 feet away from others and do not touch tables, water fountains, playground equipment or other things that infected people might have touched.

Staying home and physical distancing is still the best way to protect your family from COVID-19. Especially for younger children who may not understand why they can't run up toward other people or touch things they shouldn't, it's best to keep them home. Children who are sick (fever, cough, congestion, runny nose, diarrhea, or vomiting) should not leave home.
