Today was the last week of training at Mukuru kwa Reuben, Mukuru solid youth. We managed to offer them two clippers for them to practice and add more skills to make them open their own Barbershop.

Today was the 2nd week of training the inmates at Kamiti Maximum Prison. It was successful and powerful. Two of the inmates shared their stories and the reason why they are there is because of lack of employment and opportunity, so due to peer pressure, they ended up doing unlawful things. The good thing is that they are willing to change and take up the skills that we are providing and come out empowered and can do something positive with their lives.

Avandu vaingo we will be ni Mumias Kakamega County on 12th April join us and let's give a smile to this 1,200 kids from 6 schools,
Buchurinya Primary School, Musanda Primary School, Ebubala Primary School, Ahoninjo Primary School, Township Primary School, Milimani Primary School

Fresh Cuts FoundationToday marks the last day of our 3 week Barbering & Grooming Training Program at the Nairobi West Remand Prison; the 2nd amongst a series of prison trainings we'll be conducting in the 1st quarter of 2019.

We've trained a total of 85 inmates, some of whom will be receiving certificates! We've donated 2 Re*****on Clipper machines which were received by Senior Superintendent Sirwongot, Deputy Sergeant Petere Kiarie & Sergeant Enock Ogweto who is in charge of welfare. The inmates will use these to give each other haircuts as they practice their newly acquired skills.

In partnership with the Muthengi Foundation on March 4th we will launch the next training at Mukuru Kayaba (Makadara sub county) where we will be hosted by Sinai Reli Youth Organization.
