Fibre Composite Engineering

Our Fibre Composite Engineering program equips students with practical skills in the design and manufacture of high-strength, lightweight composite products used across multiple industries.

Students gain hands-on experience in mould making, surface preparation, resin systems, fiberglass reinforcement, lamination, finishing, and product quality control.

During the training, students learn to manufacture a wide range of products, including:

- Fiberglass boats and canoes
- Water storage tanks
- Vehicle body panels and body kits
- Roofing sheets and skylight panels
- Decorative mouldings and architectural features
- Bathtubs and shower trays
- Wash basins and sinks
- Septic tanks and bio-digesters
- Chairs, tables, and outdoor furniture
- Electrical and equipment enclosures
- Signage and display structures
- Industrial machine covers and protective casings
- Flower pots and landscaping products
- Children's playground equipment
- Safety helmets and protective components
- Custom composite products for construction, transport, and manufacturing industries

The course emphasizes practical manufacturing techniques, enabling students to produce commercially viable composite products for employment, entrepreneurship, and industrial production.

Refrigerator Fabrication & Manufacturing

At CK Institute, students are trained to manufacture refrigerators and freezers from scratch, not just assemble pre-made parts. The program emphasizes practical, industry-based skills that prepare learners for real-world production.

Our workshop technicians teach students hands-on how to:

- Process raw sheet metal into precision components.
- Fabricate the inner and outer cabinet panels.
- Manufacture and assemble the freezer or refrigerator body and lid.
- Build and install the compressor mounting system.
- Install the compressor, condenser, evaporator, capillary tube, and refrigeration tubing.
- Perform brazing, pressure testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and final performance testing.
- Complete final assembly, quality inspection, and finishing to produce a fully functional appliance.

By the end of the training, students have the knowledge and hands-on experience to manufacture complete refrigeration units suitable for commercial production or self-employment.

Instead, students master modern precision joinery and mechanical fastening techniques to assemble strong, durable, and professionally finished refrigerator and freezer cabinets
