While speaking of skincare, I love a gorgeous relaxing facial, divine smelling essential oils, the soothing sound of waves lapping the shore…lovely! Love it! But…if I’m going somewhere special and want to put my best face forward, I rely on treatments with a bit of tech behind them. So when CACI International, the company behind CACI’s non-surgical face lift system, invited me to try out their new hands-on facial treatment that the A-Listers rely on for that red carpet glow - I was there!
My nearest salon was the female-founded Moi Beauty in Morningside. Owner, Clare is a hugely experienced beauty therapist and loves CACI for its sculpting, toning and lifting benefits. Clare donned her magic gloves (made from a conductive silver material) and let the CACI microcurrent technology flow through her fingertips. While the sensation was slightly strange and included a mild metallic taste in my mouth, the facial itself felt rather relaxing. Post treatment my skin was pink and plump and I did feel I looked brighter and more awake.
Clare recommends a series of treatments depending on skin laxity and desired results but as we enter wedding season I’d definitely recommend trying it for yourself.'
