As if we didn’t have a hard enough time with acne - we have the new maskne to add to the list of culprits.
To help you combat this I’ve made a list of some of my top tips to help you -> they do work!
1️⃣Don’t wear makeup under that area.
2️⃣Wash your face mid shift if you have to wear one for work and many hours. *My nurses in my program found this one really helps.
3️⃣Wear a washable mask and wash daily. Preferably a light soft cotton or silk material.
4️⃣Avoid harsh products that cause added irritation and sensitivities, especially on lower face.
5️⃣No heavy oils or heavy moisturizers. Especially now in the upcoming warmer months.
The key here is being smart and mindful.
