Everyone is dealing with something right now. And its draining. But keep pushing. You are getting there. 💜

It happens so fast. And it takes all of you to give in to an abuser.
R**e is happening below our noses just as it's going unreported.
When it first happened to me, i was so naive, and in a new town still trying to deal with culture shock. I was not handled with the care and understanding, actually i did not know how victims of r**e are handled but the coldness of the fellow lady i met at a health facility still stings to date.
My point is, its traumatizing, i still fear going to small rooms and its something that should be talked about more. Getting to share this takes a lot out of you because, mostly, the blame falls on the woman. I remember a friend asking what i was wearing as it happened, it's sad that even as you try to get to the other side of healing, you still have to endure much more than the already pestering pain.

To all the victims of r**e, i feel you, i see you and... reach out,so we can hear you and walk through this together. I hope all r**e convicts pay for all the pain they cause their victims.

You meet a lot of personalities as you grow, but there is the you, you meet that makes you realize something new about yourself. Be it good or bad, whatever you discover about yourself, only prepares you to be better.

When the world feels completely out to get you, or against you, you may discover you have a side in you that can weather a storm, or a side that sympathises with those who can only afford to project negativity to you.
Whatever you discover as you grow, embarase it, work with it so it leaves you stronger, more wiser, because in this life, you only got you. 💞

Burn out and depression is quite common amongst primary caregivers and we should priotize on including them in our community and recognizing their struggles.

Let me tell you something about myself.
I have come a looong way, from a devoted christian, an official in a Catholic group, to a drunk, drugs and s*x addict. And because of my Christian foundation, the drug ju**ie always had guilt. This goes back to 2009.
Something interesting about guilt, once you get used to it, it becomes pretty easy to sweep issues under the rag. I have swept dark issues thay would later come to devour me alive.

Know the saying"whatever you do in the dark....." Well it does come to light, in one way or another, no matter how hard you try to hide it.

Today I don't judge, at all. Because everyone has a story, everyone of us, has skeletons. And nobody can ever live even 1% off what we go through. It is our story and we dictate how it ends.

12 years into my marriage and everything now is out in the light. The guilt in me could not hold water, the issues were too much to fit under a rag, and when everything detonated, it blew up everything. No more secrets, no more hidden issues and the best part of all, no more darkness.

It is not easy, Crossing that bridge, people get hurt, relationships destroyed, your own images becomes permanently distorted in the people, but tye best thing for you, is to get that peace of mind, that freedom from shame, guilt and self hatred.

Today, people walk around battling a full conscious and until they empty that, they continue living toxic lives and spreading it.
