4월 28일 톤데이
톤28은 태안 신진도리 해변을 찾았습니다

매달 28일마다 해오던 플로깅처럼
이번 4월에도 직접
해양쓰레기를 주웠습니다

파도에 떠밀려온 두꺼운 밧줄과
크고 작은 옷가지, 생활쓰레기
바람에 흩날리는 스티로폼 가루까지
해변에는 여전히 많은 것들이 남아 있었습니다

밀물은 생각보다 빠르게 차올라
예정한 만큼 모두 걷어내지는 못했지만
꾸준히 다시 찾고
직접 줍고 직접 움직이는 일

그 반복이 톤28이 생각하는
의식있는 아름다움입니다👩🏼‍⚕️

이번 톤데이에는
총 184개의 포대가 채워졌습니다

크고 작은 쓰레기들이 그 안에 담겼고
이 작은 움직임은 다시
다음의 변화를 만든다고 믿습니다

April 28, TOUN28 Day
TOUN28 returned to the beach in Sinjindo-ri, Taean

As we do every 28th of the month,
our entire team joined together this April
to collect marine waste by hand

Thick ropes washed ashore by the waves
pieces of clothing, everyday waste
and fragments of styrofoam scattered by the wind

The beach still held more than we expected

The tide came in faster than we thought
so we could not clear everything we had hoped to

But returning to the same place
picking things up with our own hands
and choosing to move, again and again

That repetition is what TOUN28 believes
conscious beauty can be

On this TOUN28 Day
we filled a total of 184 bags

Each one held waste, large and small
and we believe these small movements
can lead to the next meaningful change

To everyone who supported us
and stood with us in spirit
