signed a Partnership Framework Agreement (PFA) with Hanna Samaha for Trading and Agriculture, a company located in Zahle that offers high quality trees that meet international standards and produces grape, fruit, and nut trees plantlets for orchards plantation in Lebanon.

The objective of this partnership is to scale up Hanna Samaha’s local and export sales of apples which will be procured from a cluster of 15 to 20 farmers, through the provision of modern tools, equipment and technical assistance to Hanna Samaha and their supplier farmers. By achieving the above, this activity will contribute to the creation of 2 full time equivalent (FTE) jobs, improve the incomes of 63 persons out of which 16% will be females. Moreover, 66 MSMEs, including farmers, will be benefiting from new vertical and horizontal linkages.
