FATHERS' DAY PROGRAM CONTINUES THIS SUNDAY JUNE 30 AT GODGIVES MINISTRIES INC.
The Godgives Ministries Incorporated located near the Dry Rice Market on the Barnesville Road will this Sunday, June 30,2024 celebrate it's Father Day with a grand style program, to honor it's Father for 2024/2025, while several others will be honored as Special Fathers. This year's Father is Pastor Emmanuel Nelson. Pastor Nelson Joined the Godgives Church more than a decade and half ago and was instrumental in the reconstruction of the Church Building from a mat structure to a modern marble story building. He is the Secretary of the Men Department that is headed by a veteran broadcast journalist, Ferricks L. Dainsee as the President of the Men Department. Mr. Dainsee will also be honored during the Father's Day program. Others to be honored include Mr. Patrick Sherman, another hard working Father. The Godgives Church is headed by Bishop Ambassador Foley Smith as the General Overseer, assisted by Prophetess, Mother Praise Smith.

Amb. Endee in Barbados

The Culture Ambassador of Liberia is in Barbados as part of the Liberian Government official delegation. The delegation headed by Foreign Minister Sara Besolow Nyanti also includes Information Minister Jerolinmek Matthew Piah, Chairman Luther Tappeh, and Mr. Jeff Blibo among others. While in Barbados, Culture Ambassador Queen Juli Endee met with the Honorable Minister and Senator of Economic Affairs and Investment of Barbados during a productive roundtable discussion and exhibition in Barbados."We engaged in a fruitful conversation on culture, designs, arts and crafts, with mutual interests for both Barbados and Liberia.
According to Ambassador Endee, an invitation was extended to him to visit Liberia this year as a guest of honor for a prestigious program. He will meet with the Honorable Minister of Information, Cultural Affairs & Tourism, and he graciously accepted.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Endee has extended profound gratitude to Honorable Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Hon. Jerolimek M.Piah, Ambassador Witherspoon, Rev. Luther Tarpeh, Honorable Jeff B. Blibo, and the entire team for making this possible.
The inclusion of Queen Juli Endee on the Official Government delegation to Barbados as the Culture Ambassador of Liberia brings to an end the prolonged fight for the Culture Ambassadorial Title. Several individuals have fiercely been fighting Ambassador Endee for the Title which is just an honorary title and not a position in Government. The inclusion of Ambassador Endee also demonstrates that President Boakai is not in the usual business of condoning gossips and infighting in his government and that he is prepared to work with the best and brightest LIBERIANS for the betterment of the Nation and generations unborn.

WOMEN WITHOUT LIMITS HOSTS MOTHERS' DAY PROGRAM FOR MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS.

The program brought together dozens of Christian women from all walks of MONROVIA under the theme, Mothers and Daughters Relationship. Providing a mind moving inspiration to the women, Rev. Mother Rebecca Johnson, a well known disciplinarian with two masters degrees, and her daughter, Mrs. Rexib Nyantee, said a good relationship between mothers and daughters is based love, trust, discipline, respect and hardwotk. Mother Johnson said a successful upbringing of a girl child is based on discipline, stressing, do not spare the rod and spoil the child. She retrospected on the difficulty she encountered as a single mother with two children but she was determined to properly raise her children and to seek higher education at the same time, emphasizing that no condition should limit a woman from achieving her goals.
The program took place in the event hall of the Christian Liberty Church in Gardnesville. Serving as the guest preacher for the second time during Women Without Limits programs, Mother Praise Smith of the Godgives Church in Barnesville, admonished women to be strong, determined, loving but uncompromising in bettering the future of their children, and must always dream big for the family. She warned women against using their girls children as bread winners for the home or encouraging them as material bits to attract material things and money from men. Prophetess Praise Smith also called on mothers to leave a good legacy for their children, desist from acts that promote ugly characters and never to discriminate between their children as doing so creates family disharmony. She said a good mother must not allow her girls children into prostitution and should not ill-treat other children in favor her own children because God does not allow such unmotherly conduct.
Women Without Limits is a Christian based organization organized by Pastor Bendu A. Kromah to give women the hope and encourage them to rise above any condition and work towards achieving their goals in life. Its primary goal is to empower women and girls to seek higher education, seek available opportunities to improve their lives and ensure that no condition will ever limit them from achieving their goals. Pastor Bendu A. Kromah is a trained Woman Of God with a Master Degree in Business Administration and an experienced public servant. Her vision is to make women independent.
