We are excited to announce the participation of two of our students, Carlton Mewaseh Kruah Jr. and Gidden in the Young Political Leadership School Africa Cohort 12 Program. These two were selected as a representation for Liberia amongst others after a very though evaluation and interview process.
Carlton M. Kruah Jr. has over two years of experience in Public Health, four years in Education, and seven years in Leadership and Volunteerism. Currently a student research assistant at Help a Mother and Newborn Initiative in Liberia, he focuses on SRHR education in high schools. As President of the College of Science and Allied Health Student Association at AME University, he advocates for quality healthcare and education. Carlton aspires to promote transparency and sustainable development through transformative leadership in his community.
Taizee S. Giddeh has over 2 years of experience in public health, youth empowerment, and advocacy. She is the CEO and founder of The Giddeh Foundation in Liberia, focusing on empowering girls, young women, and boys through community engagement and mentorship. As Director for Women and Children Affairs, she designs policies to support vulnerable groups. Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Public Health, Taizee is committed to creating supportive spaces for young people and addressing issues like menstrual hygiene and mental health. After completing the YPLS Africa training, she plans to expand her foundationβs impact across Liberia and beyond.

We are excited to announce and celebrate the selection of two of our students, Alexline Bless Goah and Carlton Mewaseh Kruah Jr. into the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Masterclass Program Cohort III offer by Help a Mother and Newborn Initiative in Liberia.
The issue of SRHR in Liberia remains a major public health concern as the country faces several challenges with Maternal and Infant Mortality, Teenage Pregnancy and R**e amongst others. Their commitment and dedication to advancing SRHR in Liberia is highly commendable. This program aims to enhance their knowledge in every aspect of SRHR Education.
