What is Soapwort?
Soapwort contains a natural soap called saponin in its leaves. When crushed and scrubbed together in water, it produces a soapy lather that works wonders as a cleanser. Historically, it was used for washing clothes and even making soap! 👕💧

How Does Soapwort Work?
• Leaves & Roots: The leaves or roots can be boiled in water to make a lathery liquid that dissolves fats and grease, making it perfect for cleaning. 🧽
• Skin Benefits: Soapwort has anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe irritated skin and can be beneficial for conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea. 🌱
