This weekend, I joined our partners at Herbelia for two days of training exploring supportive beauty care for people affected by cancer, alongside a deeper understanding of lymphoedema and lipoedema.

Lymphoedema causes swelling when lymph fluid builds up in the tissues. Lipoedema involves an abnormal build-up of fat, usually affecting the legs and sometimes the arms, which can cause tenderness, pain and easy bruising. Understanding these conditions helps us recognise when care needs adapting and when specialist advice is needed.

For us, learning has always been part of caring. Every new skill and insight helps us better understand your needs and bring more thoughtful, personalised care to our spas.
