It commemorates the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth and last living Sikh Guru, who played a pivotal role in shaping Sikh identity, faith, and courage. The festival symbolizes truth, sacrifice, equality, and fearlessness.

The Story:
โข The Stand: Captured by Mughals, they refused to trade their faith for riches or life.
โข The Torture: Kept in a freezing tower (Thanda Burj) during peak winter.
โข The Sacrifice: Bricked alive in a wall at Sirhind for staying true to the Khalsa.
โThey were smaller than the wall, but their courage was taller than the Empire."

The martyrdom of the Chote Sahibzade and Mata Gujri Ji is one of the most moving chapters in history.
In 1705, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji (9) and Baba Fateh Singh Ji (7), sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, were captured and pressured to abandon their faith.
They chose truth over life and were bricked alive for their unwavering belief.
Their grandmother, Mata Gujri Ji, endured imprisonment and attained martyrdom soon after.
Their sacrifice stands as an eternal symbol of courage, faith, and dignity.
