Dhigurah is well-known as one of the most beautiful local islands in Maldives which its outer shores are a home of Whale sharks and Mantas. The island is also famous for its gorgeous long tailed beach at the tip of the island. The island is situated at the prestige region of South Ari Atoll, a 20 minutes flight or 1 hour 30 minutes speedboat ride from the capital city, Male'. In our native language Dhivehi, the name of the island 'Dhigurah' can be directly translated into 'Long Island'
