Can someone please tell me what kind of fluffy little mystery chick this is? 🐣😂 My son’s kindergarten class hatched chicks, and we brought all the babies home with us. Out of all of them, this is the only one with this wild, fluffy look! 🐥✨

So this came from a duck egg, not a chicken egg, and now I’m curious! 🦆😂 Our ducks have only just started laying, and this was their very first egg. Can anyone tell me what the white ball is or if this is normal for a first egg? 🥚✨

My beautiful little girl has passed away during the night. I've taken her onto the grass for the other two to see her and understand what's happened I don't know if this was the right thing or not. She was the matriarch of all the hens I've had over the last few years and my bossy little favourite. Although small she had a huge personality. I'm absolutely heartbroken and in bed crying. It's really taken it out of me as I have an autoimmune and most likely to have a painful flare due to the stress. I'm glad she's at peace but I will miss her so much. I will take her to be cremated tomorrow as I have with all my pets over the years. Thankyou everyone for all your kindness and understanding # # #

I'm absolutely heartbroken and have not stopped crying all day. My lovely 12 year old Peking Claira is dying. A few weeks ago she started showing signs of a bit of a cold. I treated her with holistic chicken stuff and she became well again for a bit. This last 3 weeks she just wanted to lie in the sun and we've had to cajole her to eat and drink. She's had all her favourite food. Peas, sweetcorn sardines etc but this last two days she's basically stopped eating and today not even had a sip of water. We put her in a pen outside and she's took deep breaths all day and just slept. Now she's in her nesting box breathing very shallow. I've made her a nice nest and put a little blanket over her. I'm in bits I hope she goes in her sleep. Has anyone been through this? I'm frightened I'm letting her suffer

Listen… sometimes farm life gets a little creative. 😂

Our little quail had a nasty case of bumblefoot, so we had to give her a mini spa treatment before fixing it up. We filled the bottom of a tiny ice cream carton with about an inch of warm water and Epsom salt to help soften her foot before treatment. Then we alternated with colloidal silver afterward to help her heal. 🩹✨

We cut just a little head-hole in the lid so she couldn’t escape during her “soak session,” and honestly… it worked PERFECTLY. 😂👌 The carton was exactly the right size, and she sat there looking like the tiniest, most confused patient ever. 🥹🐥

Farm animals keep us humble, entertained, and constantly explaining weird situations to unsuspecting spouses. 🤣❤️

Nothing says “I leave for work way too early” like stumbling into this kind of nonsense before the day has even properly started 😂🤦‍♂️
