hrdcorp However, we are mindful of the concerns raised by various parties. To that end, we are pleased to offer the following clarifications:

1. Not all programmes and courses at HRD Corp need to be micro-credentialed. We will update the list of courses that require micro-credentials soon. All other courses that do not require micro-credentials can continue as per current guidelines.

2. The implementation will not incur additional cost to employers as the micro-credential fee will be embedded into the overall course matrix with its own ceiling limit for each scheme. This will ensure that the costs are not unnecessarily transferred to the employers and impact the overall number of employees trained.

3. A Technical Working Committee comprising employer associations will be established soon to discuss, address concerns, and reach common understanding on the implementation mechanism and the fees, before it is imposed.

4. We will continue to engage with employer representatives to listen to their views and garner feedback on all policy and technical issues pertaining to the rollout of the HRD Corp Microcredential and ensure that the implementation is successful and satisfactory to all parties concerned.
