Psychologist Jill Bolte Taylor of Harvard University came up with the 90-second rule.
She found that a chemical process occurs in the body within 90 seconds after a person's emotional response to anything in their surroundings.
Continuing to feel that way after 90 seconds is a conscious decision.
This means that we have the option of avoiding giving in to an emotionally charged scenario by temporarily diverting our attention elsewhere for around 90 seconds until the chemicals responsible for the feeling dissipate.
In order to maintain mental stability while working on establishing a more positive frame of mind, it's important to learn to control your more intense emotions.😊💜

2. A sleeping and exercise routine
Ensure that you receive sufficient rest each night. The recommended amount of sleep every night is eight.
A hectic schedule may prevent that from occurring. Obtaining adequate sleep may improve your mood, minimize your chance of developing health problems, lessen your stress, etc.
Brain function is enhanced by engaging in regular, healthy exercise. As you engage in physical activity, your brain releases endorphins.
Endorphins are referred to as the "feel-good" molecule because they induce a happy mood.
If you want to improve your state of mind, getting enough sleep and exercising consistently are excellent places to start.
3. Start a journal.
Even if you are a poor writer, you can still keep a diary. It might improve your writing abilities while allowing you to convey your feelings.
Occasionally, it is preferable to let everything out rather than bottle it up.
Also, journaling is incredibly therapeutic. It enables you to get control over your emotions and assists you in moving on from past events.
4. Do a good deed for someone.
This could be anyone. There were strangers, acquaintances, loved ones, friends, and coworkers in total.
Not only will it benefit you, but it will also benefit others.
Selflessness will reassure you that you did the right thing and may encourage you to do it more frequently.
You can practice self-care while being unselfish. I believe that caring for the people around you will lead to caring for more people.
