Sidr Honey is known by its high nutritional characteristics extracted by bees from the jujube nectar (jujube plant) that grows in Arabic island and the surrounding areas. Sidr honey is produced by bees who only feed on the nectar of Sidr trees, one of the oldest trees that mentioned in the Holy Quran. Sidr honey is considered one of the finest honey and it's been known for healing benefits since ancient time.

The Sidr tree has been historically sacred in Yemen and it has been used to promote health and healing. Fruits of sidr trees were found to have a very high-energy value. The seeds are rich in protein, and the leaves in Calcium, Iron, and Magnesium.

1. Sidr honey is characterized by golden light color, it darkens and tends to redness over time.

2. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Honey that is kept at colder temperatures tends to thicken.

3. Keep the honey in an airtight container and cool dry place as honey with high moisture content can turn bad and ferment. Its high sugar content and acidic pH help to inhibit microorganism growth and can last indefinitely.

4. Not suitable for infants under one year of age, as their bodies’ immune systems have not yet fully developed. For older children and adults, honey is a safe and nutritional food.

5. Take one tablespoon of honey dissolved in half a glass of lukewarm water. This helps your body absorb all its beneficial properties. Give half a tablespoon to children three times daily, one hour before meals.
