We are looking for an Operations & Logistics Manager to be part of a fantastically growing business. We export and import client’s cargo by air, sea and road from the UK to International markets and vice versa. Your English must be of high calibre and Arabic is also advantageous.

What will you be doing?

You will go one month of training to understand the company procedures. So you have the opportunity to improve processes.

• You will have knowledge of exports and imports procedures for air, sea and land.
• You will be responsible for clearance of the client's goods in a timely and effective manner.
• You or your team will communicate with the managers and warehouse staff to schedule collections of customer goods as well as packing and delivery of those goods to the airport.
• Although you have your team, you will also be responsible for running sea clearance as it is the most important aspect.
• The team will be responsible for liaising with clients and chasing invoices.
• Your team will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to clients in English. Urdu and Arabic speakers will be required at some stage.
• Overseeing the Day to day workings of the finance, purchasing and logistics departments.
• Create Operations team KPI’s
• Oversee all company Processes
• Hold weekly improvement meetings with team members
• Meet with managers and directors to discuss process improvements.
• Negotiating on the purchase of materials, products and services including price, volume and lead times.
• Purchasing goods in line with forecasts, customer demand and optimum stock holding level.
• Responsible for products inventory and office supplies
About you
• Minimum of 2 years experience in running operations
• Experience managing a team
• Good organisational skills and time management skills.
• Confident using computers and various software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Knowledge of import and export procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent -

This is a hands-on management role therefore please do not apply if you are looking for a 9-5 or fix 8 hour job. You will be required to liaise with transport and clients at odd times during certain situations.

Salary: 50,000 - 80,000 PKR + 25% Performance Related Bonus

Monday to Saturday (Friday half day) 9-6 U.K. Times.

Education:
• BSc, MSc. Masters (preferred)
