FIRST VACCINE OF COVID-19 PFIZER BIONTECH HAS ARRIVED IN MALAYSIA

Malaysia will begin the National COVID-19 Immunization Program February 24, 2021 (this Wednesday).

The program will begin with the inaugural injection that will be received by YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Bin Haji Mohd Yassin and Director General of Health Malaysia Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah with front line officers.
There are three rankings of Immunization Program:
Phase 1 (February - April 2021): front line officers;
Phase 2 (April - August 2021): Seniors aged 60 and above and high risk; and
Phase 3 (May 2021-February 2022): residents in Malaysia aged 18 and above.

Introducing the Malaysian Food Pyramids 2020 which is a review of the 2010 Food Pyramids in accordance with the latest scientific evidence and nutrition status of Malaysians.
Malaysia's Diet Guide 2020 is targeted at adults aged 18 to 59 years old.
Healthy nutrition recommendations in this dietary guide are delivered via 14 Key Messages, among which include consumption of vegetables and fruits and plenty of plain water every day.
Enough intake of vegetables and fruits is important to enhance the body's immunity system.
While consuming 6 to 8 glasses of plain water a day can ensure good health and body function.
These two key messages are important especially in the face of the outbreak.
