Couldn’t find an easy way to say this but I regret to let you all know that February will be my final month doing procedures for clients.

It wasn’t an easy decision to make and one that was not made overnight. I unfortunately have a personal matter to tend to and need to put my physical health first due to a residual injury.

I am no longer able to do back-to-back appointments working long hours and therefore will not be accepting new clients in the foreseeable future. I will still be completing booked appointments for new clients till end of February, and for existing clients who have booked for touch ups in the coming months.

I appreciate all the love, support and trust throughout the years and as much as I loved meeting all of you during your appointments with me, it’s time to put the tattoo machine down for a bit and focus on my physical health.

However, I will transition fully into just being a PMU Educator and conduct Masterclasses where I teach students who are looking into one of the most rewarding and lucrative industry. Regardless if you’re a Beginner or Advanced artists looking into advancing your career in the Permanent Makeup / Cosmetic Tattoo industry, I will be here to guide you in your journey.

Healed post 2 years Lip Blush procedure after 1 session only.

This Lip Blush procedure was done by our student during a Masterclass back in 2022. First time learning and performing a Velvet Lips technique and she did amazing! Just look at the healed result, it speaks for itself 😍

🔸 Key points as to why those lips healed so good:
• Even shading throughout the lips
• No patchy result
• No visible outline once healed
• Mucosa tissue is well coloured (this is the area when colour tends to fade the fastest from friction)
• Colour healed nicely and natural (as what the model wanted)

No edit, no filter, no makeup on the healed lips— just raw photo.

Let’s dive into Lip Blush Colour Progression.

💠 Before
- The client’s lips are originally pale. To break it down through the lens of Cosmetic Tattoo — she has n**e (Hue), pink/n**e (Undertone), cool; more so translucent (Temperature), medium (Saturation), and high (Value) lips.

💠 Immediately After
- To give the lips some colour, we’re all about enhancing and working around what you already have and not to change your lip colour to a whole different colour entirely. Basically your lips but better. Plan of action is to increase the Saturation level, shift Temperature from cool to warm by using warmer colours. We always try to move everyone warmer since the colours tend to turn slightly cooler overtime. So the colour we went for her was Berry red. The goal is to enhance the lip colour, and not change it.

💠 Healed Lips
Picture shown healed lips after 4 months done in 1 session only. Colour/Hue is now rosey pink, a warmer Temperature, and increased Saturation — basically no longer pale. Her lips but better which is essentially what Lip Blush is.

What you need to know is that Lip Blush always heals 50-60% lighter than what it actually was. The immediately after will always look bright, bold and intense but it will only look like so for 2-3 days. As it goes through the peeling and healing stages, you will see the colour soften and can look natural. How natural you want it to be, this can be discussed with your artist. You can either go for the lipstick effect or the Blush effect (lip tint look), it all comes down to your preference. But the technicality of it all is the same - all about enhancing what you have by shifting/moving according to the 5 criterias — Hue, Undertone, Temperature, Value & Saturation.

Shaded Eyeliner Tattoo

Subtle upgrade to your overall look. Ditch that eyeliner pencil from your daily makeup routine. This will save you tons of time getting ready in the morning or simply going for an impromptu brunch date with the ladies (we all know that ladies love to look good 😉). When we look good, we feel good.

Powder Brow Tattoo.

Closeup shot immediately after Powder Brows. Not the one-size-fits-all or cookie-cutter shape as what most are used to seeing at all over socials. Gave a shape that follows her natural brow shape so that it’s less maintenance for her.

In any Brow tattoo, it’s always best to follow your natural/original brow shape and to only give it a slight enhancement. You do not want to go outside of your shape too much because remember; brow hair grows back. And if your tattooed brows are outside of your natural brow shape too much, there will be lots of maintenance for you where you need to constantly pluck/shave the unruly brow hair.

> Brow tattoo is not no maintenance but less maintenance.
You want your brow tattoo to be as minimal maintenance as possible.

Plus, brow tattoo shape that doesn’t flow with your natural brow hair doesn’t look flattering. Yes, it is supposed to be an enhancement but for someone with droopy or ‘sad’ eyebrows and you want the shape and arch to be higher than it is so that you’ll look livelier or ‘brighter’, it’s basically a recipe for disaster because now you have what we call the “double tail” or “double brows”. Not mentioning you now have extra maintenance to upkeep your tattooed brows, with the whole plucking and shaving.

Back to our client, she originally has thick shaped brows but very sparse/fine brow hair. So we work around her natural brow hair and followed the shape as much as possible so that it’s less upkeep for her.

Colour chosen is based on the natural lip colour / starting point and client’s end goal. After Neutralisation and once the lips are fully healed, it will reveal a n**e/neutral lip ready for Lip Blush.

Immediately after Dark Lip Neutralisation procedure x 1 session.

Freshly done work is not healed work. Fully healed lips after Neutralisation can take anywhere from 12-16 weeks for final result, some may even take longer depending on how melanin-rich the lips are.

We provide offline and online support for all our students post-training to ensure that students thoroughly understand the ins and outs, the technical know-how and the whys. How we teach the Velvet Lips technique is slightly different compared to how others usually do it, so it’s only normal for students to take quite a bit of time to properly grasp the technique. That said, with daily practice on latex for at least 15 minutes students can gauge the right hand position, pressure and technique till it becomes muscle memory. Anyone can be experts in no time once you put in the work.
