Step 1: Cleanse
The general rule of thumb here is that cleansing your complexion twice per day — once in the morning, once in the evening — is ideal. Cleansing in the morning will help to remove any evidence of sweat or oil left from your pillow and hair during your beauty sleep. Additionally, you’ll be able to receive the maximum benefits from the products you apply after cleansing, because your face will be free of any dirt and debris that would impact the way products are absorbed.
Step 2: Moisturizer
Your skin needs moisture to replenish the water it loses throughout the day. Moisturizers with ingredients such as ceramides and hyaluronic acid can provide your skin with the healthy hydration it needs to stay soft, supple, and youthful.
Even if you have oily or combination skin, it’s still important to moisturize. In fact, a lack of moisture can drive your skin to produce more oil in order to compensate for it, which can lead to clogged pores and breakouts.
Step 3: Protect
It’s important to wear sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing your skin cancer risk, you’ll also be preventing the effects of photoaging—which can include dark spots and wrinkles.
Opt for a sunscreen that is SPF 30 or higher, and apply it daily (even when it's cloudy), always as the final step in your skin-care routine.

Today is all about blush! We always hear people say that they like blusher but that they're scared to wear it because they're never sure where to apply it! Don't worry, we’ve got you covered! We are gonna share with you our tips on how to apply blusher correctly & some things to avoid.

DON'T: Use too much of a contrast in color
Using too much of a contrasting color can backfire, leaving you with streaks and sometimes a dirty or muddy looking finish and effect on the cheek.
DO: Use sheer blush tones and build pigment on the apples of the cheeks until you get the desired color that you're looking for.

DON’T: Forget to blend
The key is to blend cream so that it looks like a soft wash of color on the cheeks and natural.
DO: Blend, blend, blend! Your blush should be blended from the apple of the cheek in an upward motion along the cheekbone. Lightly blend with a blush brush until it looks even and natural, no exaggerated lines.

DON’T: Wear blushes with a lot of glitter particles
This can cause glitter to stay on parts of the face and be more distracting than you might want it to be, along with it being a bit tougher to remove when the day is done.
DO: Use blush that has a subtle shimmer and hi-lighting effect that is soft and natural. Just enough that when the light hits your skin, you cast a beautiful glow, versus a product that might come off too glittery.
