Filomena Mauranik De Jesus travelled from Timor-Leste requiring highly specialised surgical care for a rare and complex breast condition that had progressed significantly and taken a toll on her quality of life. When her doctors recognised that the case required advanced expertise and coordinated subspecialty care, she was referred to Prince Court Medical Centre. By the first day following surgery, Filomena was mobilising well, marking an important step forward in her recovery. Deep Plane Face & Necklift + Upper & Lower Blepharoplasty

A huge thank you to my 69-year-old patient for kindly allowing me to share his before & after photos so openly. Facial surgery demands skill, precision, and an artistic eye and it’s something I truly love doing. I don’t often post many before-and-afters here because privacy is always a top priority, so I really appreciate being able to show this case.

This patient underwent a deep plane face and necklift combined with upper and lower blepharoplasty. The deep plane lift is a powerful, gold-standard technique that lifts and repositions facial tissues for natural, long-lasting results.

He’s just 3 weeks post-op here with swelling still evident around the eyes, but you can already see a huge improvement in contour and overall freshness. Scars can take up to a year to mature, but even now they’re already hard to spot. 👀 Can you see them? Comment below!

I had the pleasure of shadowing me for a week at Court Medical Centre
She is a 1st year medical student at IMU (international medical university) in Malaysia and even though she is on her mid semester break at the moment, she decided to come and join me for a week to experience a week in my shoes as a plastic surgeon. She got to sit in on consultations, how I plan for surgical procedures, and join me in theatre to watch what I do. It is 30 years since I was a first year medical student and it is a real privilege for me to inspire and help shape the future generations of our medical fraternity. Plastic surgeons don’t just do cosmetic surgery. Here I am working alongside Dr at on a complex lower limb reconstruction for a young patient who ruptured her Achilles tendon and sustained a significant soft tissue injury over the area.

She required Achilles tendon repair followed by soft tissue reconstruction. I used a peroneus brevis muscle flap along with a skin graft to reconstruct the defect.

We’re hopeful that she’ll be back on her feet and returning to her normal routine very soon!
