In fact if you hold the herb and rub it with your fingers you will release the aromatic essential oil from the leaves into the air and onto your hand.

What does Rosemary essential oil do for our body? Rosemary aids our digestive system, it is also an antioxidant and supports healthy cellular activity. It strengthens our immune system to fight off bugs and germs, supports the kidneys, blood-sugar and blood pressure.

What does Rosemary essential oil do for our brain? This is where Rosemary really shines as it provides antioxidant support to our brain cells, regulates neuro-inflammation, uplifts mood, aids in protecting and preserving our memory centers of the brian and lessens the craving towards addictions.

How to apply Rosemary essential oil: I like to use it in my cooking, just one to two drops to add extra flavor and concentrated benefits for the body. I also like to add a drop or two into a diffuser with other essential oils such as grapefruit to inhale directly into the brain. Lastly my favorite way to apply is through the gut-brain axis by taking a drop in a veggie capsule. This way it ensures it helps the digestive system and the brain at the same time!
